Knitting Needles

Are you interested in learning to knit, or trying a new technique? The library now offers several types and sizes of knitting needles for you to borrow. If you’ve never used circular needles before, this is a great way to try them out. You can also try the different sizes to see which one gives you the correct gauge before purchasing a set (or just use ours to complete the project). We also have a yarn winder that helps move skeins of yarn into balls, which are less likely to get tangled.

If you’re looking for a new project or some instruction, check out the knitting books in the library’s collection. We also subscribe to a few knitting magazines that can be borrowed.
