Community Art Wall – Mindy Pollack-Fusi

Writer and Photographer Mindy Pollack-Fusi traveled to Tanzania 11 years ago and photographed animals, birds, scenes, and people. This is her first showing of only the people of Africa, particularly the children.
Mindy runs The Place for Words and www.CollegeApplicationEssayCoach.com here in Bedford, where she has resided for 31 years.
She is also a freelance writer for The Boston Globe and nonprofit organizations. She has been a photographer on and off throughout an earlier career in public relations, and as a hobbyist since her teens. She has exhibited her safari photos at Franklin Park Zoo, Stone Zoo, and at Children’s Hospital, Boston. One of her zebra photos was selected for the 2008 Griffin Museum of Photography 14th Juried Exhibit. Mindy is also a founding board member of Bedford Center for the Arts and has won awards for photos from the Bedford Arts and Crafts Society.
