Required Summer Reading

New this year, Lane Elementary School has required summer reading. Students entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grade should select one book from series offered. We have made lists in Aspen with the first book of each series included. They are linked below. There is no required or suggested reading for Davis students.

Middle School & High School Summer Reading

There is no required summer reading for John Glenn Middle School or Bedford High School.

JGMS students are encouraged to participate in the JGMS summer reading bingo boards. Try the MA Children’s Book Award list bingo board (good for 6th and 7th graders), or the MA Teen Choice Book Award list bingo board (good for 7th and 8th graders).
