Play Spaces
There are two play spaces in our children’s space. In the picture book area you will find
- Wall-mounted sensory panels
- Pretend return book drop
- Puppet theater & circulating puppets
- Circulating wooden puzzles & magnetic pre-writing boards
- Listening station (not play, but still fun!)
We also have a separate play room. The play room in the Children’s Room is specially designed for young children and their caregivers to play, learn, and explore new ideas through hands-on activities. There are a variety of toys in our play room, including a kitchen and play food, dress-up clothes, trains and trucks, and much more. With updated storage in the room, if there is a specific toy or toys that your child enjoys that you don’t see – now you can ask us to get them out!
Stop by and play whenever the library is open. The toys will be waiting for you!
