Construction in the Children’s Room
Published September 29th, 2021
New shelves are coming soon! Thanks for your patience as we close the Children’s Room room so the construction crew can do its work. We expect to reopen the room mid-way through October, and families may be able to browse a limited Children’s collection in the Meeting Room whenever that room is accessible.
Beginning October 8th:
- The Children’s Room will be closed, and the the temporary location in the Meeting Room may not be available when you visit. We’ll reopen access to the Meeting Room when it’s safe to do so. Check back here for updates!
- The play-wall, listening station, and puppet theater will be unavailable.
- Computer stations and study tables will not be available.
- Storytimes will continue to happen on the lawn (weather permitting)!
- Puppets and puzzles will still be available to check out and take home.
Update October 11th:
- Construction is already done! Visit us anytime the library is open.
- Books may continue to be challenging to browse as we carefully return everything to the shelves.
- The Meeting Room is still open for browsing.
