Meet the Bees

Did you know that the library has a new beehive?  We’re doing our part to support honey bee populations by hosting a hive of Italian bees on the roof.  The bees are settling in, and all are welcome to watch the buzzing from the mezzanine windows, looking toward the high school. (Grab a graphic novel while you’re there!)

Meet the Author!

Monday, May 8th 7 pm.

Mystery Writer Sherry Harris will speak to the general public and members of the Hanscom AFB Book Club about how her Garage Sale series came to be.

Sherry started bargain hunting in second grade at her best friend’s yard sale. As an adult, she honed her bartering skills moving around the country while her husband served in the Air Force.  Sherry uses her love of garage sales, her life as a military spouse, and her time living in Massachusetts (at Hanscom AFB) as inspiration for the Sarah Winston Garage Sale series.
