Drop-In Book Chats

Want to talk about what you’ve been reading or watching? Need some recommendations for things to pass the time? Just want to say hi to someone who doesn’t live in your house? Join our new weekly drop-in book chats via Zoom!

Join us every other Monday at 2pm for an all-ages book chat, or every other Wednesday at 4pm for a teen book chat (check our calendar of events for specific dates). These hour-long events are casual and drop-in, so don’t feel like you have to stay for an extended time or even join right at the start time! We’ll just be there hanging out, and we hope to see you then!

All-ages Book Chat,  every other Monday 2-3pm

Teen Book Chat, every other Wednesday 4-5pm

Spring Into Reading Challenge

The Spring Into Reading challenge is well underway, but there’s still plenty of time to sign up and stretch your reading goals.  With snow in the forecast, “spring” doesn’t seem like a great theme … but it does make for a perfect day with a cozy book.  Don’t forget: you’ll earn badges for both the time you spend reading and the activities that you complete!  How many badges can you collect?

Tip: the Beanstack Tracker app (found wherever you get your smartphone apps) makes logging a cinch.

Peeps Diorama Winners

What a wonderful year for Peeps dioramas! We had fewer entries than in the past, but the quality and workmanship were through the roof! Everyone who participated should be very proud of what they’ve done – not only of the dioramas that they built, but also the smiles they have brought to our community.
