Kids’ Summer Reading 2021

Hey, kids!  Summer reading starts on July 1st!  When you’ll sign up, you’ll get a pet to read to all summer long.  (It’s a pretend pet.)  You’ll also get your first collectible critter badge to fit this year’s animal theme.

Ms. Elaine and Ms. Bethany have the scoop in the video, and you can visit the Summer Reading page to get all of the details.

Sign up at bedfordlibrary.beanstack.org!

Tracking radiation (or ghosts)? Try our new EMF Meter.

You can use this EMF meter to detect electromagnetic field radiation from cell towers, Wi-Fi routers, overhead AC power lines, transformers, and household appliances. It is a well-known staple in ghost hunting kits. Ghost hunters will also want our UV LED Flashlight because ghosts may be visible in different light spectrums.

Learn more about our EMF here.

11th Annual Peeps Diorama Contest Photos

Many, many thanks to the folks who created such fantastic dioramas this year! We are once again blown away by the creativity and care that goes into making these dioramas.

Unfortunately, we received only a handful of entries, but we think they’re all winners! We are going to forgo voting this year, but you can still enjoy the photos of the dioramas.

We hope for another robust year of dioramas in 2022 – start thinking of ideas now!
