11th Annual Peeps Diorama Contest

The snow is melting, the days are getting longer, and Peeps candies have reappeared in supermarkets. That can only mean one thing – it’s time for our 11th Annual Peeps Diorama Contest!

Just like last year, our contest will be entirely online. Create a fabulous diorama featuring Peeps candies, then take pictures and email them to us. Everyone will be able to browse the photos and vote for their favorites in each category.

Submissions are due by Wednesday, March 17.

Voting will take place Monday, March 22 through Monday, March 29.

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 31.

Full details, including rules, how to submit your photos, and slideshows from past years, are available here.

Congratulations! WinterRead 2021: Success

Well done, Bedford readers!  The community came together to read 223 books in January–that’s 123 books more than the original goal.

The reading fun doesn’t end just because it’s a new month, either.  There’s a brand-new reading challenge for Black History Month, and it’s open to everyone of all ages.  We’re switching up the goal, this time.  Track how many minutes you read and complete activities to earn badges during this challenge.  (The Beanstack Tracker app will do all of the minute-counting work for you!)

Head to bedfordlibrary.beanstack.org to join the new challenge.  It’s quick and easy to sign up.
